No. We do not charge for publishing.

We understand that our specialised genres may contain scenes of violence, sexual aggression, etc. So long as none of these behaviours or experiences are glamorised or encouraged, we will accept your manuscript. However, please let us know in either your cover letter or synopsis.

Yes you can, so long as you are the sole owner of any and all rights related to the work.

Yes we do so long as the work has been taken down from all platforms and is no longer available for sale. Please keep in mind that you will still be required to edit your work to our standards.

Yes, but please let us know when you submit that you have sent your manuscript to other publishers or agents.

As with most publishers, SmashBear authors will be paid via royalties earned on book sales.

It would depend on the quality of the illustrations and their necessity to the book. We prefer to use our in-house artist or freelancers.
